Today, with the popular stories from Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia, it’s no doubt kids love magic!  Children enjoy watching magic at birthday parties and county fairs but they really want to learn a few secrets of magic.  Over the past decade, master magician and professional clown, “Michael Mysterio” has been teaching children magic at summer camps,  YMCA events, and schools.  He teaches kids how to perform magic with ordinary every objects like rubber bands, pencils, coins, crayons and paper cups.  This magic is super easy to learn and with Mike’s patient teachings and guidance.  The kids learn about integrity, overcoming shyness, and good social skills by being able to perform magic tricks for their friends and family.  This is a valuable skill to learn early at their age.

Michael Mysterio’s classes usually are planned for a summer camp week, Monday through Friday in two hour sessions but one day classes are possible.  In a weekly summer magic camp kids will learn two or three tricks a day and on Friday the kids will perform a magic show for the parents and friends.  By the end of the week the kids will learn about 10 tricks with household objects and Mike will act as an MC and help guide the children through the show.  Parents are always impressed on how their child has accomplished so much in just one week of lessons.

The magic lessons from Merlin’s Magic Camp will help kids through the rest of their school life.  Kids that have taken Merlin’s Magic Camp do better in school oral reports, making friends, and learning good social skills but the most important is your child will have so much fun and keep these treasured memories that will last a lifetime!
